b'EPR Gains MomentumAlongside World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and other key partners, we continued to advocate for effective collection policies. In 2025, Maryland and Washington became the sixth and seventh states to pass extended producer responsibility laws, requiring companies that sell packaging and paper products to fund and improve local recycling systems. Meanwhile we worked to stop poorly designed policies that would have either burdened working families or would have failed to significantly improve environmental outcomes. These legislative wins occurred in Colorado, Nevada, New Jersey and New York.
